Academics: Minor in Accounting

    There are opportunities for students to obtain a Minor in Accounting. With proactive planning, it is possible for a student to meet the requirements for a Minor in Accounting within a four-year period. Students who are interested in a Minor in Accounting are advised to contact their academic advisors as early as possible for guidance.

    A Minor in Accounting requires 18 semester hours, which consists of 12 semester hours of Required Courses and 6 semester hours of Elective courses as follows:

  • Required (12 semester hours):
    ACC 201, ACC 202, ACC 301 and ECO 111


  • Elective (6 semester hours):
    Any two of ACC 302, ACC 304, ACC 305, ACC 403, ACC 404, and ACC 407
