Latin-American Studies is an interdisciplinary program intended to provide students with a thorough understanding of Latin America. Students major in a subject such as political science, history, or buisness, and minor or concentrate in Latin American Studies.

The program is especially meant for students who have personal interest in Latin America, or who have future career aspirations in the field of Latin American Studies. The program provides such students with a basic knowledge of the language, and a thorough understanding of the Latin American cultural heritage. Students can get additional training in particular disciplines.
