Join us each Thursday at 3:00 pm in the Physics Library (Merion 125) for The Physics Tea. This is a social time we have set aside for physics students and faculty to chat about physics, classes, grad school, and anything else that happens to come up in conversation. It's a great time to relax and see your professors and classmates in an informal atmosphere outside the classroom. Visitors welcome, especially alumni and prospective students!

Each year the Department of Physics presents several awards and scholarships to outstanding Physics majors. The awards are made possible by generous donations from West Chester alumni. This year, Shayna Wright and Andrew Clark, both BSED majors, are the recipients of The Robert M. Brown Scholarship. Ryan Margolis, also a BSED major, received The Benjamin Faber Scholarship. The Dr. Michael F. Martens Awards is being shared among four students: Sean Martin, Maxwell Henderson, Michael Hedrick, and Ryan Roberts. Inductions into Sigma Pi Sigma, the national Physics honor society, also took place at the ceremony. A copy of the program from the ceremony is available here.
