This presentation will cover early-stage drug discovery through clinical trials, and comment on the statistical methodologies used at each stage.  The talk will also briefly cover statistical issues needed to address the many types of responses that are becoming increasingly available due to modern technological platforms such as: genomics, blood chemistry measurements, telemetry, imaging, etc.  In conclusion, this presentation will wrap up with a brief overview of what business and consulting skills are expected of a statistician consulting in a major pharmaceutical company.
