What is Reflexology? Reflexology is “the practice of using pressure massage on specific points on the feet or hands, in order to balance body systems and make an energetic connection to the muscles, glands, and organs in the body” (Hand and Foot Reflexology, Kunz and Kunz). Reflexology has been practiced since ancient times.
Why learn it? Reflexology promotes deep relaxation and stress relief, releases endorphins, improves blood and nerve supply, and moves toxins out of the body. It can help to maintain or improve body functioning. Learning about Reflexology can introduce you to a new method of caring for yourself and others.
Interested? To get more information or to sign up, please email Rose O’Connor @ rosesreflexology@gmail.com or stop by Merion 207 to speak to Rose. Space is limited to ten people so register early!
This workshop is open to any student, staff, or faculty member of WCU
