The four honorees to be inducted into the Hall of Fame are:

Edward J. Coyle '73

  • Inducted into Pennsylvania State Athlete Hall of Fame, Delaware County Chapter
  • Inducted into Olympic Wheelchair Sports USA National Hall of Fame
  • Graduate of the International Olympic Academy, Olympia, Greece 1977
  • Para-Olympic participant for weightlifting, winning four Pan American gold medals; three world championships; two Olympic gold medals; ten national championships; and set 23 world records

Jack Eberhardt

  • Audiologist with the Veterans Administration
  • Speech clinician in public schools of Montgomery County
  • Former Interim Dean West Chester University School Health Sciences from 1994 to 1997
  • WCU chair and faculty of the department of communicative disorders

James S. Ford '71, '77

  • Graduate in nonprofit management from Eastern College, 1993
  • Elder,  Central Presbyterian Church, Downingtown, Pa
  • Elder and deacon, Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, West Chester, Pa
  • Created, developed, and implemented adventure education program at East Goshen Elementary School in 1976, West Chester, Pa
  • Good Works, Inc, director, Coatesville, PA
  • Physical education teacher in the West Chester Area School District, 1971-98
  • Open Door Ministry, board member, West Chester, Pa
  • Nominated Teacher of the Year, 1981

Vonnie Gros

  • Led U.S. Olympic Field Hockey team to bronze medal 1984
  • Member of U.S. National Field Hockey team for 13 years
  • WCU field hockey team coach for 12 years
  • Inducted into U.S. Field Hockey Hall of Fame, Pennsylvania Lacrosse Hall of Fame, and WCU Athletic Hall of Fame
