Come join us for the 13th Integrative Health Conference.  This year’s conference theme is The Human-Animal Bond and Its Impact on Health.  Friday evening includes an exciting keynote address by Wayne Pacelle, President and CEO of the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS). (click HERE for bio) Saturday morning offers two sessions:  general audience and professional with continuing education credits.  CME’s, Act 48, Vet and Vet Tech, and CHES credits as well as Nursing contact hours will be offered and approval is pending for Social Work credits.  For information contact Cheryl Faust at 610-436-6931 or cfaust@wcupa.edu.

We offer two concurrent sessions:  Professional and General Audience.

Beginning at 8:00 am on March 31, 2012, Dr. Aubrey Fine (click HERE for bio) will present the Keynote address - Why We Love Animals:  Understanding the Therapeutic Value of Pets in our Lives and in Therapy - for both the Professional and General audiences.

WCU Student Tickets:  $5 ($10 at the door)

Professional:  $115 (Includes lunch on Saturday)

General Audience :  $30 (Half Day Program)

WCU Faculty, Staff and Graduate Students:  $25 (Professional Session)

WCU Faculty, Staff and Undergraduate Students:  $15 (General Audience Session)

Online Registration for Saturday's conference has closed - tickets will be available for sale at the door in Sykes.  Tickets for Friday evening's keynote can still be purchased online by clicking here until 5 pm Friday evening.  Tickets will be available to purchase at the door in Asplundh for Friday evening's keynote.

 

Cancellation Policy

There are no refunds for tickets purchased for the keynote address.  Cancellations for combination tickets must be made in writing and received no later than 5 PM on March 16, 2012.  Requests made by March 16, 2012 will be processed less a $15 administrative fee for community tickets and $25 administrative fee for professional track tickets.  No refunds will be made after 5pm on March 16, 2012.

West Chester University and the College of Health Sciences are pleased to offer an opportunity for exhibitors to display their products and demonstrate their unique capabilities at this year's conference.  Exhibitor space is limited, so please register early to guarantee space. The exhibitor space will be held in the same facility as the conference, West Chester University's Earl F. Sykes Student Union Building, 110 W. Continuing Education Information

4.5 CME, Vet/Vet Tech, CHES credits, and Nursing contact hours, as well as 4.0 Act 48 and Social Work credits have been approved for this conference.  For additional continuing education information, please click HERE.

 

Directions to the Conference

For driving directions to West Chester University, click here.   Friday evening's keynote will be presented in Asplundh Concert Hall on High Street and Saturday's keynote and conference will take place in the Sykes Student Union Building on Rosedale Avenue.  Click here for a map highlighting both locations on campus.  Philadelphia International Airport is the closest major airport to West Chester University.  There is no shuttle service between the airport and the university, so a rental car or taxi service will be needed to get to West Chester.
