26th Annual Mary Kline Professional Day

The 26th annual Mary Kline Lecture Series (nursing)will take place on Thursday, October 15, 2009. The Mary Kline lecture series will be held in Sykes Student Union Building on Rosedale Avenue in the morning and the College of Health Sciences Career Day (information HERE) will be held in the Russel Sturzebecker Health Science Building on South Campus on South New Street in the gymnasiums in the afternoon.

The Mary Kline Lecture series keynote speaker is Cynthia Wagner, R.N., MSN, palliative care and pain management consultant, Paoli Hospital, Paoli, PA. Cynthia will be addressing issues surrounding  seriously ill patients and management of their pain, with a holistic approach addressing their physical as well as their emotional, mental, and spiritual needs.

There will also be a panel presentation by West Chester University alumni practicing in diverse roles and clinical settings. The program will begin at 9 AM and will be followed by a luncheon for alumni, faculty, and graduate students.
