Praxis II Requirements

WCU Certification Programs

 

Important Information

These test must be taken seriously. Candidates cannot graduate from WCU without passing Praxis II (with the exception of BA in foreign languages & BA in Geography, History, or Political Science).

The Teacher Certificication Office administers the Praxis I and II paper-delivered tests: 5 times a year for Praxis II.

Because test requirements and passing scores frequently change and vary for different certification areas, students are encouraged to contact this office on a regular basis throughout the completion of their degree program.

    To register for out-of-session testing, test takers must submit two registration forms (one registration form for each test), the registration fee (charged only once per testing year), and the test fee for each test (plus any late fees, if applicable).
