Conference Information
On Thursday, May 12th & Friday, May 13th, 2011, West Chester University will be hosting a higher education conference titled: Resources for the Electronic Classroom: A Faculty-Student Partnership (RECAP 2011).
The purpose of the annual RECAP conference is to offer West Chester University and other faculty the opportunity to improve and enhance the classroom learning environment through integrating technology into their curriculum. In general the RECAP conference is held in two days.
RECAP 2010 was exclusively focused on Desire2Learn (D2L) training, migration and Learning Management System (LMS) for over 150 PA State System of Higher Education faculty.
RECAP conference offers demonstrations and hands-on workshops using a variety of current and emerging technologies. The conference will include lectures and demonstrations of educational technology by faculty and guest speakers as well as a series of concurrent and development sessions.
The RECAP organizing team has gone to great lengths to support this exceptional annual conference for the past decade that included over 450 practical and informative presentations as well as over 1000 participants.
