The Library is a selective depository for documents from the U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. This means the Library does not receive all the publications of the U.S. Government or the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The vast majority of the documents available through the Library are online and in the Government Documents Area. Government Documents are published in several formats, including print, electronic and microform.
