Service Agreement Disclaimer

ResNet Central and its consultants provide technical service to West Chester University students exclusively.  This agreement governs the repair request between ResNet Central, ResNet Central personnel (consultants), and West Chester University students, referred to as clients.

  • Liability - ResNet Central is not liable for any damage or loss of data caused by natural or unnatural causes while servicing clients equipment, such as electrostatic discharge, electrical surges, brown outs, fire, floods/water damage or any other occurrences. Equipment - ResNet Central retains the right to refuse service to any device for any reason including physically damaged equipment.   Clients may be asked to provide valid WCU identification during pickup or drop-off of equipment.
  • Software – The Client’s computer must contain valid licensed software which includes the operating system and all other commercial software.  Consultants may remove any software that ResNet Central believes will adversely affect the computer or the campus network.  Consultants may install virus/spyware protection or any other utility software currently used by ResNet Central, if necessary. 
  • Personal DataClients should backup personal data before service. Neither ResNet Central nor its consultants are liable for any data loss.
  • Guarantee – There is no guarantee written, spoken or implied that your equipment will be repaired to your satisfaction.
