Information Technology (IT) Accessibility

West Chester University is committed to diversity and to providing a barrier-free information technology environment to all students, faculty, and staff. Information Services Division has collaborated with the campus constituents to develop plans to comply with ADA standards as they apply to information technology.

Information Services is a campus-wide resource to:

• Provide and adhere to accessible coding standards, and use tools to develop and test electronic content for accessibility
• Address accessibility for classrooms and computer labs configuration
• Promote and provide consulting services, accessibility guides, training and other solutions needed for creating accessible IT resources
• Collaborate with IT software providers to explore solutions to accessibility challenges
