SAT offers classes on a variety of programs and topics, shaped to fit your personal needs. Beginner classes (beginner symbol) introduce the topic, build a strong foundation, and provide the user with a better understanding of the overall use of the program. Once familiar with the basics of each topic, SAT provides advanced classes (advanced symbol) for those who wish to continue to expand their knowledge. Distance Education (distance ed symbol) is also used for some specific courses. Explore the tabs below to learn more about the courses. PeopleSoft - Faculty beginner symbol
During this session you will learn how to view faculty workloads, class rosters, student records, student advisement information, on-line grading and much more. Participation in this class is a requirement for account and security privileges.

The Department Chair / Academic Secretary session offers advanced training for newly appointed Chairs and Academic Secretaries. You will learn how to Add/Drop/Swap and Override courses; assign students to/or change an Advisor; and run departmental reports including graduation applicants for a department and degree progress reports.

Basic SAP Navigation beginner symbol
This Basic SAP Navigation training session is a prerequisite for obtaining a SAP user ID which allows access to the SAP Financial system. Only employees who, as part of their official duties and responsibilities, are required to access budget, financial, and procurement information or to process purchasing requisitions should take this session.

SAP BI Financial / Budget Reports beginner symbol
Tired of logging into the SAP Finance system to try to find budget and expense data? Confused about submitting the ZBUDSTAT report or the ZFM01_EXP report? The Finance and Business Services division and the Budget Department have a better answer. There is a new web-based financial report that allows you to easily view and/or download financial and budget information to Excel. Find out what is available for determining budget, commitment (encumbrance), and actual expense totals along with the resulting budget balance.

SAP BI Reports Level II advanced symbol
Are you ready to take your SAP BI reporting skills to the next level? Do you want to personalize the initial variable screen so that you do not have to enter the same selection each time you run reports? Do you have a need to limit the reported information to specific time periods (first quarter, second quarter, first half or just a few specific months) within a fiscal year? Do you want to learn how to add criteria or filters to the data? Do you want to save your changes and additions by creating a new view that will be there every time you run the reports? If you have answered yes to any of these questions, you should take the SAP BI Reports Level II training.

SAP ZFM01 Reports advanced symbol
Learn how to use the SAP ZFM01 and ZFM01_EXP reports to obtain current budget balances as well as review budget, expense, and commitment (encumbrance) transaction details. This course is available by request.

SAP Electronic Requisitions advanced symbol
A requisition is a document requesting the purchase of goods or services. Electronic requisitioning empowers employees to create and manage their own requisitions while making the procurement process both faster and more responsive. Requisitions are electronically routed to Purchasing and Contract Services for the issurance of purchase orders. This electronic purchase requistioning class covers how to create and manage purchase requisitions. Only employees who, as part of their official duties and responsibilities, are required to purchase goods or services should take this session (pre-approval or appropriate cost center manager is required).

SAP Multi-Year BI Reports advanced symbol
This new SAP BI report is designed to provide a financial/ budget history for multi-year entities like scholarships, grants, endowments, and projects. These fund centers typically span multiple years while the initial SAP BI report is limited to reporting on one specific fiscal year at a time. With this new BI report,users can get a complete SAP history for one or more of these multi-year entities. This course is available by request.

BI Reporting To Go
Do you have some specific questions about using the SAP BI reports? Don’t want to sit through an entire class again? Then this is the place for you. Just “drop in” for a few minutes to cover your specific questions and then “drop out” when you are comfortable with the answers. Questions will be answered on a “first come ~ first served” basis. Just show up anytime between 9:00 AM and 11:30 AM.
Note: For existing BI users only.  New users must take the full intro class.

PDF Forms beginner symbol
Creating forms no longer needs to be a major challenge. With Adobe LiveCycle Designer you can create user friendly forms from existing documents created in Word or other Office applications. This software will analyze your file and place form fields where needed based on its appearance. You will learn how to create fillable forms that can be submitted back to you via email by the click of a button.

This session will focus on the D2L tool ePortfolio. It will explain the benefits to students and faculty and how it can be used in a classroom setting.

D2L Course Maintenance beginner symbol
The objective of this workshop is to demonstrate best practices in "closing" courses after the semester has ended, and start preparing content for the next term. Faculty will learn to Export their Gradebook, turn off old courses, and copy content into new courses.

D2L: Dropbox beginner symbol
This workshop will show faculty how to create online assignments that are electronically submitted and then graded, all in D2L. This course also provides instructors the ability to check papers for plagiarism using the TurnItIn Learning Tool. TurnItIn assisngments are securely and seamlessly submitted on D2L and are checked for plagiarism using TurnItIn's databases.

This workshop will cover how to set up Discussion Boards and Groups in your course. This workshop will cover the Kaltura audio/video streaming service, Kaltura allows faculty to upload and embed high quality media to D2L. You will learn how to upload the videos and insert them into your D2L course.

Scantron Test Scoring beginner symbol
The Scantron is the machine used to scan and grade grid/bubble test answer sheets. In this class, participants will be able to bring some completed grid type tests and learn how to use the scanning machine to grade them. This session is an “open lab” type class where participants may come in at any point during the scheduled times and learn how to use the machine.

Introduction to Presentation Room Classrooms beginner symbol
Come to this session to learn firsthand how to operate the controls in the presentation classrooms.

A Presentation classroom is designed to meet all of the basic multimedia needs. This facility provides the Instructor with a projector, a supporting audio system and a wall plate with appropriate connections for a Laptop/PC, and in some locations, a connection for a VCR/DVD. Instructors will be responsible for bringing the needed equipment to connect to the presentation system.

This class will be an introduction to the use of Student Response Systems or “Clickers”. Class will include a demonstration of how the polling works. Also the participant will learn the software that is used for the polling process. A discussion of best practices with the use of clickers will be included.
