Good News around WCU


Giving Back

Team AFSCME was recognized by NBC10 for their efforts for fundraising in honor of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society .  Also, Beth Cooper in the custodial services department was individually recognized for raising over $9800 in 2010 for this charitable organization.  Great job!

License Earned

Alisa Paterson in the Grounds department has successfully completed the testing to receive her CDL license. Everyone should be extremely proud of her as she took the opportunity for advancement and made the most of it. Congratulations Alisa!

Caregivers Support Group
A representative from Willow Tree Hospice in West Grove, PA (www.willowtreehospice.com) will be coming to speak about what hospice is and what "end of life care" means. This will take place on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 from 12:00 to 1:30 pm in the Philips Board Room, Third Floor. RSVP Joyce Holste (jholste@wcupa.edu) or Becky Hook (rhook@wcupa.edu).
