Leadership Development Seminar was initiated to focus on change leadership and developing skills to create change in one's work environment. This initial day long learning experience, targeted for university leaders and future leaders, is designed to:

•  Demonstrate the capacity to transform organizations through sharing/analyzing campus stories of successful change;
•  Encourage participants to share insights on how to change the status quo in an organization;
•  Identify mentors who are available to help you realize and implement your own innovations; and
•  Provide principles and concepts for changing the culture and dynamics of an organization

"Graduates" of the program now participate in networking luncheons and meetings, where new ideas are generated and mentoring/support is provided; also they serve as storytellers for future seminars, participate in targeted professional development programs to further enhance their leadership development and are solicited to participate in key taskforce assignments to benefit the university and their professional and personal development.
