Voluntary Retirement Incentive Program

The Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education is offering a Voluntary Retirement Incentive Program (VRIP). The VRIP offers monetary incentives for eligible employees who choose to retire. The monetary incentives are based upon years of service and retirement eligibility for all employee groups.

Selecting A Retirement Plan

WCU offers three retirement plan options. Selecting a retirement plan is the most imporartant decision of a new employee because once a selection is made, it cannot be changed. The three retirement plan options are:

• PSERS - Public School Employees' Retirement System
• SERS - State Employees' Retirement System
• ARP - Alternative Retirement Plan
