Alpha Psi Omega (Theatre Honor Society)
This honorary fraternity recognizes excellence in and dedication to the theatre arts. It is sponsored by the Department of Theater & Dance and membership is open to all students regardless of major.

United States Institute of Theatre Technicians (USITT)
USITT keeps performing arts technical professionals in touch with today's rapidly changing scene by fostering a free exchange of ideas and information regarding theatre technology. USITT actively promotes research and investigation in the performing arts technology. It is a national organization with an international association.

University Dance Company (UDC)
UDC is the student concert dance organization. The focus of UDC is to promote dance as an art form at West Chester University and to provide students the opportunity to create and explore their expressive voice within this art form.  UDC gives students an opportunity to become actively involved with all aspects of dance production through performance, design, and administrative work.  With two annual concerts, students have an opportunity to work with both faculty and guest choreographers and explore their creativity through their own choreography.  Students involved are exposed to the professional atmosphere of a dance company through aspects of audition, vigorous rehearsals, and several performance opportunities and/or production responsibilities.  Each year, UDC students have the opportunity to participate in the American College Dance Festival. Audition information can be found here.

WCU Theatre (UT)
Excellent opportunities in theatre are offered through this student organization, which functions in the StudioStage and MainStage theatres of the Bull Center and in the new Performing Arts Center theatre. Its major productions, drawn from the classics, contemporary drama, and Broadway musicals are outstanding events for the University and community as well. Additional activities can include participation in Homecoming, an annual theatre banquet, working concessions for MainStage productions, and monthly socials. All students with an interest in drama are welcome.
