Dr. Yoko Hasimoto-Sinclair is the director of Costume and Makeup for the Department of Theatre and Dance. Besides teaching, she designs costume and makeup for the University Theatre productions. She received four Metitorious Awards for Excellence in Costume and Makeup Design from Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KC/ACTF).

Dr. Hash is President of the Repertory of International Cultural Exchange (RICE). The company traveled twice to Japan for performances and lectures, and performed in several U.S. states. She designed costumes and/or makeup for many companies including Opera Delaware, Savoy Company, Venture Theatre, Opera North and Philadelphia Revels, which perform in such theatres as Academy of Music, Merriam Theatre in Philadelphia, Grand Opera House and DuPont Playhouse in Delaware. Dr. Hash frequently makes presentations as a lecturer, workshop leader and Japanese dancer. She has held various offices in professional organizations. Presently, she is the training coordinator of Rotary International Foundation's MAST/LINK, the Mid-Atlantic Ambassadorial Scholarship training program for both US and international students.
