Education

B.M., Susquehanna University; PA Teaching Certification, Millersville University; M.M., Temple University; Ph.D., Temple University

Dr. McFarland received a Bachelor’s degree in piano performance, a Master’s degree in Music History, and a doctoral degree in Music Education. She holds Level III Orff-Schulwerk Certification from the University of Cincinnati as well as High/Scope Movement Certification.

Dr. McFarland is a resident of Millersville, where she is active as a private piano instructor and professional accompanist. She has presented conference sessions at the local, national, and international level.
